Issue With Video Player

Hi Hayden, I can’t watch some of the videos any more and I partly don’t hear any sound although the video is running. I’m using the iPad with iOS 13 and so far I’ve never had any problems with it.
Thank you very much for your help.
Cheers, Yves

Hi Yves

Thanks for letting me know about this - I have emailed our video software provider to investigate and fix the issue.

In the interim you can try a different browser such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Internet Explorer. Sometimes the issue can be browser specific.

If you can let me know if the issue persists in multiple browsers, that will also help us to diagnose and fix it. Thanks for sharing your device and OS version.

Apologies for the inconvenience of this… i will ensure it is resolved asap for you.

Cheers,
Hayden

Hi Hayden,
Thank you for your quick answer. I tried 3 browsers on the iPad:
Firefox and Chrome work but Safari is the only one that doesn’t work.
Great, thanks for your help.

Yves

My pleasure Yves and thanks for the info. I have passed this onto our tech guys so that they can diagnose the issue with Safari.

We did recently update the video player. You should see the A/B loop bar has a new sleeker design.

You can also try clearing your browser history/cache in Safari browser. Sometimes when we update the video player software, our browsers can store the old version of the code which can cause issues such as this.

I’ll post another update as soon as I hear from our tech guys. Cheers.

Hi @Yves - just to follow up on this again. Our video developers were able to reproduce the issue with Safari on iOS 13.

They have created a fix and we’ve updated the video player software so the player should work fine for you now using Safari browser.

Thanks for letting us know about it.
