Tuomo pays special attention to the functional harmony in each of his jazz standard lessons. For all of the tutorials in this course, we start by analysing the function of each chord so that you understand the harmonic principles which make up the tune.

After analysing the harmony we then introduce a full arrangement incorporating advanced chord voicings and harmonic concepts.

For each tutorial, you can find recommended albums and recordings to listen to. Remember that listening to lots of jazz is an essential part of your development.
