@Hayden do you have the midi file from this lesson? I’d love to see the chord progressions for Samba de Orly — particularly when he plays the progressions the first time at 18:00 and also the tag/turnaround around 28:40

I just checked and I don’t seem to have this MIDI file, but I will ask Jovino and perhaps he has a copy saved.
It’s unusual as I do have the midi file from Jovino’s sessions in October 2021, and his one on the 24th November 2021, but this one is missing.
Hopefully we can track it down, and as a backup I can ask our transcriber to transcribe what Jovino is playing and we can create a tutorial with the notation above the piano so that it’s easier to follow along with the progressions.
Leave it with me and I will keep you posted.

I just checked through all of the back-up files and unfortunately the MIDI file for this seminar is nowhere to be found.
I did reach out to Jovino about it after Robert’s question in 2023. Jovino was also unable to locate it. Unusually that was the only file missing on his computer too.
I can ask our transcriber to notate and transcribe the sections of interest.
Robert mentioned that he’d like the turnaround voicings around 18:00 and the tag/turnaround at 28:40.
If you can let me know which sections/song you are most interested in and the rough time stamps, I will send this to our transcriber to create the notation for you.
