Hayden, glad to be back, had some health issues the past few months but I am on the mend and PianoGroove and your seminars help keep the spirits up.
Have donwloaded the MuseScore notation software and it looks pretty intuitive although perhaps if you have the time a short video from you as to how you use it and any tricks/shortcuts you may have learned along the way would always be helpful.
Hi, Humberto 👋
I’m glad to hear that your health issues are improving and I wish you a swift recovery my friend!
Yes, I can certainly recommend this playlist on YouTube which gives an overview of the core features of MuseScore:
youtube.com/playlist?list=PLTYuWi2LmaPECOZrC6bkPHBkYY9_WEexT
This playlist was created by MuseScore themselves and I’m sure that they can share much more accurate and relevant information than if I was to create a series of videos on this. I just watched through the videos and I learned a few things which I wasn’t aware of, so I recommend to check out this resource.
It’s a YouTube playlist and each of videos contain short and actionable tips and guidance so it should help you to flick through and learn the core features and functionality of the MuseScore software.
If you do have any other questions, please let me know and always happy to help out.
Again, wishing you a swift recovery and talk to you soon!
Best,
Hayden.
Hayden, thank you very much for your posting and good wishes. The tutorial videos from Musescore are indeed quite helpful. Looking forward to using the notstion software and to the PianoGroove lessons..
My pleasure, Humberto.
Yes you can follow the same format as my PDFs: create one PDF for major 251 lines/licks, and one PDF for minor 251 lines/licks. You can continually add to and update these MuseScore files as you find new material.
As I demonstrated in this lesson, the major lines can be usually be applied to the relative minor key with great effect, and vice-versa.
If you have any questions just let me know.
Cheers,
Hayden
Thanks again, Hayden
