Stardust Jazz Piano Tutorial
Welcome to part 2 of this lesson on the tune Stardust. In part 1 we explored the 16 bar introduction and now we’re going to move into the main tune.
We will add a stride style in places and we will be using all of the different registers of the piano to add depth and interest to the arrangement.
We introduce some interesting reharmonisations in the B Section using series of descending dominant chords and upper structure triads.
Start with the 3 note pickup, we create a full solo jazz piano arrangement.
