Just to clarify, do you mean for example using Eb and F triads over C?
In the G major scale you utilized the A flat minor 6th chord to improvise using the alternate scale. The B flat minor chord adds additional notes of the same alternate scale. The B flat triad would be the triad pair of the A flat chord. Thanks for your follow-up.
Yes, you can definitely use Abminor and Bbminor triads for improvising over G alt, as all chord tones fit the scale.
With. a good left hand voicing, both of these chords sound very nice over the G, and by combining the notes of the triad pair, we can create very interesting melodies.
